The Kimber Modern represents an almost perfect coincidence of site, program and architectural form. The form derives simply from a precipitously sloped site with parking placed underneath. The low-slung design provides a multi-leveled environment that is never more than one story from the ground, providing a sensitive buffer between the sheer commerce of the vibrant Congress Avenue corridor and the quaint South Austin neighborhoods to the east and south. The home has an open floor plan spanning 3 levels with Red Mahogany woodwork and built On two flat acres of serene and park-like grounds with a pond (fish, ducks and a boat). Extension and Simple  Design of Georgian House

Georgia House building, for the extension was designed by Henning Stummel Architects. Structures of design made of wood and typical house typology. This home design is a recommendation from the public to remain to protect the traditional buildings. From the other side, this building is simple and practical, but space is limited and all materials must be brought through the front door. Fenestration is used to match the surrounding environment. We played a gray color to the window difficult to find. Internal extension has two bathrooms and a toilet / utility room. These rooms are not occupied permanently and does not require conventional windows. These rooms and wet rooms waterproof wall finish must be determined. (more…)
