Villa Vauban Design – Inspiration from Art Gallery of Luxembourg by Philippe Schmit

Villa Vauban was inspired by an art gallery of Luxembourg, which consists of two floors and wearing brass perforated panels. The building is located in the green belt has been hosting the city and the city art gallery since 1959, named Philippe Schmit Architect create a comprehensive plan for renovation and expansion of existing Villa in 2002. On May 1, 2010 the new Villa Vauban – Musée d’Art de la Ville de Luxembourg reopened after restoration, and display works of art from the collections of the city as well as temporary exhibitions with works on loan from international museums.
